Burnham
Market is Norfolk's most beautiful village, set in the heart
of Nelson's country. The village green is overlooked by Georgian
houses and interesting shops and restaurants. The area is designated
as being of outstanding natural beauty and a visit to the natural
coast, with it's sandy beaches, reed beds, sand dunes and salt
marshes, will show you why. There are nature reserves at Titchwell,
Holkham, Cley and Holme. Sandrigham is close by as is Nelson's
birthplace., Burnham Thorpe. There is golf at the Royal West
Norfolk at Brancaster and at Sheringham, Fakenham and Hunstanton.
There is sailing at Burnham Overy Staithe and Windsurfing at
Wells and Brancaster.
